The Cayuga County Office of Tourism (Tour Cayuga) is the designated tourism promotion agency for the county, handling both consumer facing tourism marketing efforts as well as group/event attraction initiatives.

Group and event attraction is a crucial component of the county’s tourism goals and efforts as this has a direct impact on “heads in beds” and occupancy tax revenue for the county. As a result, there was a need to further build the Tour Cayuga brand, specifically targeted towards group tours, tour operators/ companies, retreats, weddings, and more.

Upstate New York boasts numerous historic landmarks, including the Erie Canal, Women’s Rights National Historical Park, and forts from the American Revolutionary War.
