18 May Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail
The Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail burst onto the scene in 2014 bringing together many breweries, wineries, distilleries, and other craft beverage related businesses across the region. This collective effort had a huge impact promoting the area and industry as a major tourist attraction.
After a few years of the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce building up the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail, it came time to analyze how this fits into their values and mission. A primarily business-to-business focused chamber, it was thought that the beverage trail fir better into a tourism based organization.
Enter the Lake George Chamber of Commerce.
On Wednesday the Adirondack and Lake George Chambers held a press release to pass on the “beer stein”. Moving forward we are thrilled to be working with the Lake George Chamber, which also is a CVB, to re-energize the trail and help take it to the next level! A few of the next steps for us and the trail are to re-engage members/partners, create updated collateral and assets, develop advertising channels and rates, as well as work towards bringing back an event in the coming winter season!
The trail will have a formal re-launch at the Adirondack Wine & Food Festival June 23rd and 24th. If you haven’t heard of it, the event draws more than 6,000 people into Lake George for the weekend and features many of the Adirondack Craft Beverage Trail members. We highly recommend joining the festivities as this festival is one you do not want to miss!
